The 1 MHz ultrasonic probes marked in blue are characterised by high sound intensity and short sound pulses, making them particularly suitable for pulse-echo operation. They have a robust metal housing and are waterproof. They are supplied with a special plug for connection to the GS200 / GS200i.
To connect the probe to a GAMPT-Scan or FlowDop use the adapter VK-10402.
To connect the probe to an oszilloscope with BNC connector use the adapter VK-20285.
Due to their high sound intensity, the probes are particularly suitable for investigations with large penetration depths of highly attenuating materials and for the generation of Rayleigh or shear waves. They can be used as transmitters or receivers.
