Ultrasound technology has been freely available on the market for private persons for a few years now in the form of diagnostic, therapeutic and cosmetic devices. Especially cosmetic devices are attributed, among other things, with a strong biological effect, e.g. for skin tightening and body fat reduction.

Together with the perfusionists and the surgeons of the university clinic Halle GAMPT is constantly improving the handling and application of the Bubble Counter when monitoring the microbubble activities during extracorporeal circulation (HLM, ECMO).
