At the SME Innovation Day of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) on June 13, 2024, innovative SMEs presented themselves as the driving force of the German economy. Around 300 exhibitors presented the results of their pioneering research and development projects at the open-air event.

We were there with the Brainsaver, which is being developed as part of a research project (in collaboration with cardiologist and idea generator PD Dr. med. Karsten Lenk, Managing Senior Physician of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Cardiology at Leipzig University Hospital and other scientists from the Innovation Center for Computer Assisted Surgery (ICCAS) at Leipzig University).

As with all the exhibits shown in Berlin, our development was also supported by BMWK funding. In addition to a comprehensive range of information and advice on supporting innovative ideas through the BMWK’s numerous funding initiatives and programs, the Innovation Day will also provide an opportunity to talk to representatives from business, research and politics in a summery atmosphere.
